The Chenab River Bridge, located in the Reasi district of Jammu & Kashmir, is the world's highest railway bridge, with a deck 322 meters (1,056 feet) above the Chenab River. It is part of the 272 km all-weather Jammu–Baramulla railway line connecting Jammu to the Kashmir Valley. Construction began in 2003 and took over 20 years due to the region's challenging terrain, safety concerns, and legal delays.
