Cable trays for buildings in Bangladesh

Cable trays in Bangladesh provide organized, safe, and durable solutions for managing electrical and communication cables in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

Types of Cable Trays

Cable trays come in various designs to suit different applications: Ladder Type Cable Trays – Ideal for heavy-duty cables in industrial settings, offering strong support and ventilation for heat dissipation. Perforated Cable Trays – Suitable for power distribution, allowing airflow to prevent overheating. Wire Mesh (Basket) Trays – Best for telecommunication and low-voltage cables, providing flexibility and easy routing.

Solid Bottom Cable Trays – Offer complete protection against dust, moisture, and electromagnetic interference. Custom Designs – Tailored trays to fit unique layouts, load requirements, or architectural constraints.

Materials and Durability

Cable trays in Bangladesh are manufactured using galvanized steel, mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and FRP. These materials ensure corrosion resistance, structural strength, and long-term durability, suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. Thickness typically ranges from 18 SWG to 14 SWG, depending on cable load and environmental exposure.

Applications

Cable trays are widely used in: Commercial buildings – High-rises, offices, and shopping complexes. Industrial facilities – Factories, power plants, and manufacturing units. Healthcare and data centers – Hospitals, telecom facilities, and IT infrastructure.

Residential projects – Large apartment complexes requiring organized electrical distribution.
