Price of Aluminum Cable Trays in Singapore

Aluminum cable trays in Singapore typically cost between SGD 30 to SGD 75 per meter, depending on type, size, and finish.

Price Range and Factors

Aluminum cable trays are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for humid or chemical-prone environments, which makes them more expensive than standard steel trays. The typical cost per meter ranges from SGD 30 to SGD 75, with higher prices for custom sizes, coated finishes, or heavy-duty designs (ladder or perforated trays) that support larger cable loads. Bulk orders or long-term supply contracts can reduce the per-meter cost.

Types of Aluminum Cable Trays

Ladder trays: Strong, suitable for heavy cables, generally at the higher end of the price range. Perforated trays: Lightweight, allow ventilation, slightly cheaper than ladder trays. Wire mesh trays: Ideal for light cabling, cost-effective, and easy to install.

Additional Cost Considerations

Coatings and finishes: Powder-coated or anodized trays increase durability and price. Labour and installation: Open designs reduce installation complexity, but skilled labour costs vary. Shipping and handling: Heavier or longer trays may incur higher delivery charges.

Suppliers in Singapore

Several local suppliers provide aluminum cable trays, including RS Components Singapore, AE Hub, United U-Li Projects Pte Ltd, and Foresight Metal Engineering Pte Ltd. They offer a range of sizes, types, and compliance with standards such as IEC 61537 and SS249. For accurate budgeting, it is recommended to request quotes from multiple suppliers, specify tray type, size, and coating, and consider bulk purchase discounts.
