To submit a quotation for a Non-standard Distribution Box in Tuvalu, suppliers must follow the Government of Tuvalu's Limited Shopping procurement procedures, quoting in AUD and complying with technical, ethical, and submission requirements.

Eligibility and Submission

Quotations are open to all suppliers not under debarment by the Government of Tuvalu. Goods may be sourced from any country except those with which Tuvalu has officially prohibited commercial relations. Suppliers must submit a responsive quotation containing fully completed Sections 3 to 6 of the Standard Bidding Document (SBD), signed where indicated.

Non-responsive quotations will be rejected. Submissions can be delivered by email, fax, or sealed envelope, clearly marked with the IFQ number, and must reach the designated address by the specified closing date.

Pricing and Currency

All quotations must be in Australian dollars (AUD) and include all shipping costs, taxes, duties, insurance at full replacement value until delivery in Tuvalu, and any incidental costs. Prices must be fixed for the duration of the contract.

Technical Specifications

Suppliers must complete the “Offered” column in the SBD with a detailed description of the Non-standard Distribution Box, including essential technical and performance characteristics. Any deviations from the “Required” specifications must be clearly highlighted. The goods must be new and unused, and the specification should allow for the widest possible competition while maintaining clear standards of workmanship and performance.

Ethical Conduct

All bidders are required to sign the Declaration on Ethical Conduct included in Section 5 of the SBD. The Government of Tuvalu maintains a zero-tolerance policy for fraud and corruption. Any engagement in unethical practices may result in rejection of the quotation, cancellation of the contract, and debarment from future contracts.

Contract and Validity

The contract completion date will be specified in the IFQ, and quotations must remain valid for 30 calendar days after the submission deadline. The Letter of Award and Conditions of Contract are provided in Section 7 of the SBD for reference.

Key Steps for Suppliers

Review the SBD for Limited Shopping (Goods) to understand all requirements. Prepare a detailed technical description of the Non-standard Distribution Box in the “Offered” column. Ensure pricing is in AUD and includes all costs to deliver to Tuvalu.

Sign and attach the Declaration on Ethical Conduct. Submit the quotation by the specified deadline via email, fax, or sealed envelope. Following these steps ensures compliance with Tuvalu's procurement regulations and increases the likelihood of a successful quotation.
