Price of cable tray shaft connectors

Cable tray connection prices typically range from ₹16 to ₹30 per piece for coupler plates with hardware, depending on tray height and type, with additional labor costs for shaft installations.

Material Costs

For standard cable tray couplers in India: 25/50 mm height trays: Coupler plates with hardware cost around ₹16 per piece for a 20/30 x 200 mm size. 50 mm height trays: Similar couplers are priced at ₹16 per piece. 75/100 mm height trays: Coupler plates with hardware cost approximately ₹30 per piece for a 70 x 200 mm size.

These prices are exclusive of GST and may vary depending on supplier, material (galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum), and order quantity. Custom designs or larger trays may increase material costs.

Installation and Labor Costs

Installing cable trays in a shaft is more complex than standard horizontal installations due to: Vertical alignment and support requirementsLimited working spaceSafety measures for elevated or confined areas Labor costs can significantly increase in shafts, especially for industrial or high-rise projects, as additional installers, scaffolding, or lifting equipment may be required. While material costs are per piece, installation costs are project-specific and can vary widely depending on tray size, shaft height, and local labor rates.

Additional Considerations

Tray type: Ladder, ventilated, or solid-bottom trays may affect coupler selection and cost. Material finish: Hot-dip galvanized trays are common, but stainless steel or FRP may be more expensive. Quantity: Bulk orders often reduce per-piece cost.

Delivery and lead time: Ex-stock delivery is faster, but custom sizes may take 3–5 days or longer.

Summary

For budgeting purposes, expect coupler plates in shafts to cost ₹16–₹30 per piece, with additional labor costs depending on installation complexity. Always confirm with suppliers for current pricing, GST, and delivery terms to get an accurate project estimate.
