Main Power Supply The distribution box receives the main power input, which is routed through a main MCB or main switch. This acts as the primary disconnect and protection for the entire system. For single-phase systems, a double-pole MCB is typically used, while three-phase systems use a three-pole MCB.

Direction of rotation is critical: the motor turning direction must match the machine's wheel direction to prevent damage to the motor and cabinet.

Control and SequencingStart-up sequence is important: usually, the high-pressure fan and airlock motors are started first, followed by the grading motor, then the main grinding motor, and finally the auger screw motor. Stopping sequence is the reverse: switch off the auger screw motor, wait for the grinding chamber to empty, then stop the main grinding motor, followed by grading and fan motors. Interlocks may be required for safety, such as ensuring the suction blower is running before the main motor starts.

Neutral and Earth Connections

A neutral link distributes neutral to all output loads. All motors and protective devices must be properly earthed to prevent electrical hazards.

Variable Speed and Inverter Connections

If the pulverizer uses variable speed motors or VFDs, ensure the inverter input and output are correctly wired to the motor and control panel, following manufacturer specifications.

Safety Considerations

Only a qualified electrician should perform the wiring, following local electrical codes and regulations. Verify that the input power matches the machine's rated voltage and phase. Ensure the operator environment is free of dust, trip hazards, and wet conditions, and that proper PPE is used.
